A: "Custom Built" means each cabinet is designed to meet your specific needs and placed precisely where you need it.

Q: How is this different from regular cabinets?

A: Factory built cabinets come in stock sizes-standard height, depth and width measurements. Kitchens and the people who own them, however, come in a variety of shapes and sizes. While standard size cabinets can be made to fit most kitchens, the people who own them usually have to sacrifice some degree of comfort, convenience, or appearance to make them work. Custom built, however, works for you. You determine what you need and where you need it. Then we build it to fit you.

Q:Aren't Custom Built Cabinets more expensive?

A: Generally speaking, yes, but not always. Factory built cabinets can easily cost $10,000 -$15,000 for a typical kitchen. Appliances, installation, remodeling and other "hidden" costs can easily add another $10,000 -$15,000. Q: Don't Custom Built Cabinets take longer to get?

A: Sometimes, but not always. Custom built cabinets typically require 6-8 weeks to build. Most Stock cabinet manufacturers claim a 3-4 week delivery time. There is no guarantee, however. Busy periods and backorders can add weeks or in some cases months to the process. Reputable cabinet manufacturers will advise you not to begin remodeling work on your kitchen until they know for sure the cabinets are ready. Remodeling work-removal & disposal of old cabinets and appliances, rebuilding walls and floors, electrical and plumbing work can take several weeks to complete. Add this to the 3-4 weeks you have already waited plus the installation time, and it can easily take a couple of months to get the entire job done.
