The Comfy Kitchens Custom Process
All of our Custom Kitchens begin with a Free Initial Consultation. This important first step provides us with the following information:
- Assessment of your current kitchen layout and features, to determine what works and what isn't working for you
- Identify your personal "kitchen work style" to discover your Form, Function and Ergonomic issues
- Review available options and features to suit your personal work style
- "Dream the kitchen" with an experienced eye, to consider the possibilities for self-expression and a revitalized layout that will work for you
The next step in the Custom Kitchen Process develops a work plan and project budget, including:
- Detail drawings of your Custom Comfy Kitchen solution
- Specific recommendations for colour, accessories, trim styles, and finishes
- A complete cost overview for your entire project, including paint, counter tops, floor styles, backsplash treatments, lighting and electrical work, duct work
- An estimated schedule, accommodating your lifestyle needs for convenience and a minimum of muss and fuss
- Note: All Comfy Kitchens Custom project budgets include complete removal and disposal of existing cabinets FREE! (a service many contractors will charge extra for!)
There is a $300 design fee for a personalized Custom Kitchen plan. The design fee is applied to the purchase price of your new Comfy Kitchen when you sign a Custom Kitchen contract.
Pricing, Specialty Orders, and Samples of Our Work
Comfy Kitchens custom kitchen projects can be completed starting from $8,000.00 complete. Every kitchen we create is a unique expression of your functional needs and aesthetic requirements. Pricing is always done on a "per project" basis. We use no "off-the-shelf" solutions when creating your dream kitchen.

We also offer Specialized Cabinetry for your Home office, Entertainment and Bedroom furnishing needs. These special projects can be built as standalone or portable units to suit your specific needs.
Custom cabinetry starts at $80 per face square foot.
